Facial Cupping & Gua Sha
Cupping enhances circulation and enhances oxygenation. The skin is aglow and plump in all the right places. Gua Sha moves stagnation gathered by gravity and repeated emotional expression. This combination is part of the Cosmetic Acupuncture session, or can be added to Acupuncture or BioEnergetics sessions. This is often patient’s favorite part! It is so relaxing.

Microneedling can reduce acne scars, wrinkles, pore size, hyperpigmentation, and stretch mark appearance. Downtime can be up to 5 days, but typically 3 of looking a bit pink. Read more below to learn if it’s right for you.
Cosmetic acupuncture brings an influx of vibrant energy to the face.
In contrast to contemporary anti-aging solutions which freeze or mute a naturally occurring expression, this infusion of Qi brings light to the darkness, arouses strength to depletion, and sparkle to the dull.
It is important to note that Botox harms emotional health by disrupting the feedback loop from your vital organs to the limbic system of the brain. When an emotion is felt, processed by the brain, but then hindered by paralyzed muscles, the emotion then sits in the body, unexpressed, setting forth a toxic cascade further distressing the organ related to the emotion.

If you have no reason to hold off, and any reason to go for it, what can you expect?
We will start by applying a numbing cream, and while it’s taking effect, you will receive body acupuncture to support the systems that have given rise to your reason to seek out Microneedling. After 20 minutes, the numbing cream will be wiped off, your face properly cleaned, a deeply restorative serum will be applied, and the Microneedling procedure will begin. It is painless, relaxing, and takes place for about 15-20 minutes. We are all nervous before trying something new, and I’ve noticed all my patients, myself included, feeling pleasantly surprised at how relaxing it is.
The day of the procedure you’ll be slightly pink and red in some spots. Schedule this procedure at least 5 days before any event you want to look your best. Before your appointment, have your preferred serum ready at home to make the most of our increased absorption, and to soothe your healing skin. Use your serum day and night. Wash your face gently with water the first day, and with a mild cleanser the following five days. Do not use abrasive action (brushes, cloths) or any chemical exfoliants (salicylic acid, retinols, etc). Use SPF protection daily. You can use a tinted SFP over your serum during the day to resume your daily activities. At about day three, a dryness will be perceived, as the cells turn over anew.
While collagen takes about four weeks to be produced, a glowy appearance will be evident a day or two after. It is best to avoid full sun exposure, activities that will make you produce sweat, for at least until your skin appears to be healed, four or five days. You can resume exfoliation two weeks to four weeks after your procedure.
After Microneedling, take care for your skin
Do not use acids, retinols, or vitamin C for seven days
Do not sweat or be in the heat for 5 days
Do not use makeup for 5 days. Tinted SPF is ok.
Use only gentle, unscented cleanser until healed.
Do not expose yourself to the sun for 7 days.
Use the recommended or approved healing serum until healed.
